About the event
Learner objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Use two life-changing skills that will help you manage your own “emotional brain” so that you go home from work with enough energy and love left over for your own family. - Describe four essential skills that will help the most difficult children change their behavior from hurtful to helpful while using strategies that literally “wire” the brain for self-control. - Name the key factor that transforms daily conflicts/disruptions (tattling, name calling, talking back) into teaching opportunities - Utilize critical skills for creating safe, connected “school family” classrooms where children “choose” to be cooperative, diversity is honored and motivation comes from internally by caring instead of externally by rewards.
